Birdwatching
Grimsholmen
Nature Reserve is a paradise for birds and ornitologists.
In spring and autumn you may see thousands of eider ducks passing by in the
early morning hours. Summertime you can sit for hours on the sunwarm cliffs.
There you may watch an exciting scenery, when the sparrow hawk sweeps along the
beach meadows hunting small birds.
Maybe you can recognise a kestrel standing still in the air with fluttering
wings and the tail feathers spread out like a fan.
Rough west- and northwest winds sometimes bring rare seabirds to our coast.
